I can't believe my baby boy is 8 years old. It does not seem
possible! Sometimes I look at him and he seems so big but then most of the time
I look at him and see the innocence still there and I love that! Once again he
celebrated his birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house with the swimming pool.
This year we added a blow up water slide...thank goodness...since there were
about 50 kiddos running around that backyard. Anthony is so blessed with many
people that love him-family, friends, baseball buddies. Thanks for all that
came out and celebrated with us. I love this boy!

2012 LCLL 7U National All-Stars
Anthony loves to play baseball...most every day, majority of the day, and with whoever will play with him. It is fun to him. So it was a great honor for him to be chosen to play on the LCLL 7U National All-Star team this summer. He has played baseball since he was 4 years old but this was the first year of Little League. Little League is different from Rec Ball but we had such a great experience with the Thresher Team. Then came All-Stars and it really is a different kind of baseball. It was intense, it was crazy, it was a lot of time, there was drama, but there were also great boys, good parents and fun coaches. Anthony learned so much about baseball. He was on cloud nine all 3 weeks of the seasons. He LOVED it!

Thanks to all the coaches (Cody, Jim, Jeremy, Ronnie) and their time, energy & support. Also, a big thank you to our team mom, Angie, who was very organized and amazing! One more big thank you to Bonnie for more amazing pictures of Anthony playing ball. I took a lot of pictures but the really clear ones of Anthony are Bonnie's.
Even though the team did not win it all, Anthony was honored to be on the team, learned a lot and can't wait to play again!

Happy Mother's/Father's Day
So since it is summer time I am working really hard on catching up on lots of things-including my pictures and blog. Since today is Father's Day and I did not post on Mother's Day, I thought I'd do both in one.
Mother's Day 2012
I am a very blessed momma. I don't know if adoption makes it seem even more
of a blessing or not but I am so thankful to both of our birthmoms for
their amazing selfless choice of life for my precious babies, without
them I would not be a mom. I'm also amazed at how God works in
mysterious ways for all things to His good.

Happy Father's Day 2012
We are so thankful to have my dad in our lives. He has always been a
loving dad and a fantastic grandpa but since everything happened with
Daddy, he has been there for the three of us every step of the way. He
is not only my dad, grandpa to my kids, but also our handyman, lawn
service, babysitter, #1 baseball fan, and so much more. Thank you Dad
for all that you do to love on us! Happy Father's Day!

Lastly, thank you to our Heavenly Father.
We continue to trust you with today and tomorrow.

2012 LCLL Threshers
We had the most amazing time during Anthony’s first season of Little League
Baseball. We were so blessed by terrific coaches-supportive, knowledgeable and
fun.
The parents were very friendly…we had a couple of team parties during the
season. Now the moms are working on having “Mom Nights Out” …such a blessing to
me.
I enjoyed taking pictures during the games but I had a sweet friend, Bonnie,
that captured some amazing ones of Anthony, too. Anthony is a good ball player and a lot of fun to watch. He played most of the
season at first base. During the tournament he played third base and shortstop.
I learned a lot about baseball while watching him. I’m super proud of Anthony.

Thanks for so many of you coming out and supporting Anthony during his season
and especially during the City Championship. He always felt so special when his
family and friends came to watch and cheer him on. Thanks for loving my boy!
