Daddy's Day

We done this for the last three years... the kids and I have chosen to honor what would have been Daddy's 41st birthday by going to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. This year we went to Pei Wei and then grabbed some ice cream before running off to baseball practice.
We love Daddy and will always miss him.

These are just a few of some of my favorite pictures of Daddy...

Isa's 3rd Birthday

My Beautiful Birthday Girl!
I love you, Isa!
Happy 3rd Birthday!
You are my gift from God.
Only He knew what life would be like soon after you were born. In more than one way I am so glad I had you to care for and love on with your brother as we walked away from Daddy's cancer battle without him by our side and only in our hearts.
God must have big plans for you,
my sweet little girl.

Anthony's 8th Birthday Party

I can't believe my baby boy is 8 years old. It does not seem possible! Sometimes I look at him and he seems so big but then most of the time I look at him and see the innocence still there and I love that! Once again he celebrated his birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house with the swimming pool. This year we added a blow up water slide...thank goodness...since there were about 50 kiddos running around that backyard. Anthony is so blessed with many people that love him-family, friends, baseball buddies. Thanks for all that came out and celebrated with us. I love this boy!

2012 LCLL 7U National All-Stars

Anthony loves to play baseball...most every day, majority of the day, and with whoever will play with him. It is fun to him. So it was a great honor for him to be chosen to play on the LCLL 7U National All-Star team this summer. He has played baseball since he was 4 years old but this was the first year of Little League. Little League is different from Rec Ball but we had such a great experience with the Thresher Team. Then came All-Stars and it really is a different kind of baseball. It was intense, it was crazy, it was a lot of time, there was drama, but there were also great boys, good parents and fun coaches. Anthony learned so much about baseball. He was on cloud nine all 3 weeks of the seasons. He LOVED it!
My favorite shortstop
Covering 2nd base, getting an out!
Catching and throwing to first base

Anthony got his first in park home run.
Becoming a good leader, calling out which base the ball could be played at.

Ice Cream after a big win!

Luckily Isa loves to go to brother's games!

Brother's biggest fans: Mom, sister, Grandma & Grandpa.

2012 League City Little League 7U National All Stars

Thanks to all the coaches (Cody, Jim, Jeremy, Ronnie) and their time, energy & support. Also, a big thank you to our team mom, Angie, who was very organized and amazing! One more big thank you to Bonnie for more amazing pictures of Anthony playing ball. I took a lot of pictures but the really clear ones of Anthony are Bonnie's.

Even though the team did not win it all, Anthony was honored to be on the team, learned a lot and can't wait to play again!
